Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Chance, and for me, travel has never been just about the destination — it’s about the moments in between. The laughter on a road trip, the quiet awe of a mountain sunrise, or the first time your feet touch warm sand after a long flight. Those are the memories that inspired me to create Wander with Kaitlyn, a travel brand built on the belief that every journey should feel personal, intentional, and unforgettable.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent nearly a decade as a teacher and instructional designer. That experience shaped how I approach travel planning today — with patience, curiosity, and a deep understanding that no two people learn or travel the same way. I bring that mindset to every client
I work with, designing trips that reflect individual interests, comfort levels, and travel styles.
Travel changed my life in the most meaningful way. After facing personal loss and challenges, I found healing and renewal through exploration — from hiking the red rocks of Utah’s national parks with my mom to relaxing at Caribbean all-inclusives and wandering through small coastal towns in search of local flavor and good coffee. Each adventure reminded me how transformative travel can be and inspired my mission to help others find that same sense of peace, joy, and connection.
To date, I’ve explored 46 U.S. states, more than 20 national parks, and seven countries — and my list keeps growing. My personal bucket list includes exploring the Canadian Rockies, chasing the Northern Lights in Alaska, and visiting every Disney park in the world. But my greatest joy comes from helping others check off their own dream destinations — whether it’s a honeymoon in Jamaica, a family getaway to Universal Orlando, or a scenic Alaska cruise.
I’m proud to hold certifications with many of the travel industry’s top brands, including Disney, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, Carnival, Sandals & Beaches, Iberostar, Celebrity Cruises, and Universal Studios. These partnerships allow me to offer clients insider knowledge, exclusive perks, and trusted expertise that make every trip as smooth as it is memorable.
When I’m not planning vacations, you’ll find me exploring new trails, photographing beautiful landscapes, or spending time with my pets — my loyal dog Scout and two cats, Oliver and Macy — who keep me company while I dream up new adventures. I’m also passionate about storytelling, community, and helping others find meaning through shared experiences.
Through Wander with Kaitlyn, my goal is simple: to help every traveler feel seen, cared for, and inspired. Because when you travel with heart, you don’t just see new places — you create memories that change you forever.
Let’s collaborate to design a trip that reflects your story — one that inspires, refreshes, and reminds you what it feels like to truly wander. Whether you’re ready to start planning now or just exploring possibilities, I’d love to help you turn your next adventure into something unforgettable.
