There’s something magical about the open road — the way each mile feels full of possibility, the way landscapes shift right before your eyes, and the way memories seem to come easier when you’re surrounded by nature. As someone who has traveled to 46 states, explored more than 20 national parks, and taken several cross-country trips (including one unforgettable Mighty 5 adventure with my mom), I’ve learned one thing for sure:
There is a perfect national park road trip for every season. Whether you’re chasing wildflowers in spring, alpine lakes in summer, fiery foliage in fall, or snow-dusted vistas in winter, America’s national parks deliver year-round wonder. This October, I traded in my Alabama autumn for sunny skies and palm trees as I made my way to Anaheim, California, for a conference and vendor expo—an incredible weekend of inspiration, learning, and a little bit of magic along the way with my former agency.
Some trips are about slowing down, and some are about squeezing every bit of adventure into each day. This trip? Definitely the latter. From hiking the Grand Canyon to kayaking emerald waters, from strolling Fremont Street to being wowed by Cirque du Soleil, we packed six days with moments I’ll never forget. Here’s how it all unfolded.
If you’re anything like me, sometimes the popular tourist spots just don’t hit the mark anymore. Don’t get me wrong — I love a good landmark as much as anyone — but there’s something truly special about discovering hidden gems that let you experience a place in a deeper, more personal way.
At the end of May, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a FAM (familiarization) trip to Iberostar Selection Playa Mita, located along the breathtaking coastline of Riviera Nayarit. This experience was made possible thanks to the generous support of Iberostar, Vacation Express, and Nexxus Tours — and I’m so excited to share the highlights from this unforgettable work trip.
There’s something special about escaping to South Florida in the middle of winter. In January, my boyfriend and I took a long weekend getaway to celebrate my 30th birthday — and it was the perfect mix of ocean breezes, national park adventures, and spontaneous roadside stops. The trip was refreshing in every way — warm sunshine on our faces, new places to explore, and time to slow down and simply enjoy the moment. Because no one wants to be "that tourist"...

Whether you’re a seasoned globetrotter or heading overseas for the first time, here are my top international travel tips to help your trip go smoothly and safely (and make you look like a total pro while doing it!). As much as I love jetting off internationally, there's something truly special about exploring the United States. Whether you’re road-tripping through national parks, flying across the country for a beach vacation, or visiting family in another state, domestic travel comes with its own set of things to keep in mind. Here are my favorite domestic travel tips—straight from someone who’s been to 46 states and taken more road trips than I can count. From February 28 to March 4, 2024, I had the opportunity to explore the iconic city of San Francisco—and let me tell you, this solo trip was the perfect blend of work, exploration, and relaxation. Whether you're traveling for business, pleasure, or a little bit of both, San Francisco truly delivers.
